Sylvania Habitat Team gets City of Portland grant

The PCC Grants Office has announced the award of $10,000 to the college from the City of Portland for Community Watershed Stewardship Program. This grant will allow the Sylvania Habitat Restoration Team to continue working at the Sylvania Natural Area Park, including removing invasive species, planting native species, and installing an educational kiosk for visitors with neighborhood and park information. The Restoration Team will be working with Southwest Neighborhoods, Inc.
