Tastes of Italy infuse the kitchen in PCC class

BEAVERTON, Ore. – Are you looking for a magnifico response from your family at the dinner table? If now is the time to add some flair to your normal menu, a new Portland Community College non-credit weekly series of cooking classes will guide you through the regional specialties of Italian cuisine and teach you how to express your passion for food in a whole new way. Learn how to choose ingredients, plan a menu and prepare wonderful dishes that you have dreamed about making for yourself. Instructor Mario Biagioni brings the Italian Cooking Series to life. Each class highlights the basics: freshness, economy of ingredients, and ease of preparation. Menu includes: Antipasti Economici, Pasta al Forno and Riso, Insalate dAllegria and Docli Veloci, among other dishes and desserts. The class will meet from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., every Tuesday from Jan. 10 through Feb. 7, in Room C13 at Cedar Park Middle School, 11100 S.W. Parkway St. Cost is $170.
