Sculpture exhibit comes to Northview Gallery

SYLVANIA CAMPUS – The Northview Gallery at Portland Community College is hosting a solo exhibit of sculpture installation.Evertt A. Beidler’s "Heaven and Earth" show will be on display from Monday, Jan. 3 through Feb. 3. The installation of sculpture examines motivations within the human behavior of love and fear. There will be a reception for the artist at 3 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 3 in the gallery, located in Room 214 of the CT Building at the Sylvania Campus, 12000 S.W. 49th Ave."These works explore varying degrees of ethical conduct by contrasting ideas and deeds that possess a high level of moral value with those that do not," Beidler said. "As a result, I have created a forum in which I am free to challenge the values of others by outlining stages of my own struggle to establish a code of ethics that is culturally and socio-economically interchangeable."The Northview Gallery is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
