Learn Fun of Genealogy in PCC Class

ST. HELENS – A non-credit class on genealogy will be offered spring term by Portland Community College.Genealogy for All will meet from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursdays, April 5 through May 10, in Room B49 at St. Helens High School, 2375 Gable Road. Cost is $31.50.The class will stress the fun of genealogy, the study of ancestry. Participants will learn the basics of genealogy, including the use of oral histories, correspondence, the Internet, and computer programs to conduct a family history search. Instructor Jennifer Blacke will also provide support and constructive suggestions for compiling a family history.For more information, contact PCC Community Education at 503-397-1311.
