PCC Holds 10th Annual Community Service Fair

Want to help the community and earn college credit at the same time? Representatives from approximately 20 metro-area human services will be on campus to share information about their services and recruit students as volunteers or employees on Wednesday, November 20, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Amo De Bernardis College Center, Sylvania Campus, 12000 S.W. 49th Avenue.

Through the Cooperative Education program, PCC students can earn academic credit and often wages by working at many local social service agencies. Those confirmed for the fair so far are the American Lung Association, the Association of Retired Citizens, the American Red Cross, Bradley-Angle House, Cascade Aids Project, International Refugee Center for Oregon, Community Advocates, State of Oregon Department of Human Resources-Volunteer Programs, Edwards Center, Habitat for Humanity, IAM Cares, Janis Youth Programs, Mental Health Services West, Metro Crisis Intervention Service, Planned Parenthood, Portland Impact, Portland Women’s Crisis Line, PCC Volunteer Literacy Program
