Wrap-up: Haunted October in the Create Space 2025

Haunted October in the Cascade Create Space STEAM Center was a busy month for us with lots of makers, Making Magic Series workshops, and fun, educational activities. We laser cut jewelry while learning about graphic design tools. We mixed magical swirling potions while learning about viscosity and 3D printing practical objects like flexible TPU bottle stoppers. We 3D printed skeleton army accessories while learning about adapting 3D models for scale and deleting negative space from other objects. And we did a lot costume crafting, including printing masks and using tools to cut off parts from a print and repair the hole with a 3D printing pen and soldering and sanding to smooth the finish. We also participated in Harvest Week at the Learning Gardens with our plant music station. Side quests included glow in the dark slime, the Haunted October crossword puzzle, and a new riddle puzzle box.

Thanks to all the makers who stopped by and helped make it a creative and crafty month of STEAM exploration.
