I painted this for my class, because the theme was something along the lines of media or influence. Looking back, Robin Williams had a big impact on both my life and media. Whether it be on TV, the News, Online or otherwise he was a part of it at some point. He was also a huge influence on my life, Whenever I was in a bad mood I would watch his stand up or Disney's Aladdin and it would make me feel better. For a long time after Robin William's unfortunate passing, I wanted to make a nice tribute to him. It was researching for this class that gave me the idea to make the painting. Also the Genie was my introduction to him and was always my favorite character that he voiced.
