Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District: Calling all Basketball Coaches!

Volunteers are needed for the youth Winter basketball season (November-March). Basketball coaches support our 5th-12th grade boys & girls basketball programs.
Coaches are essential to the success of every participant in the youth sports programs. Coaches provide an enjoyable learning environment for youngster’s physical, social and personal development, teach responsibility and commitment, develop sports skills, teach cooperation and positive attitudes toward authority, and provide a fun and enriching experience for all teammates.
Coaches must commit to 2-4 hours working with their team during practices and games in the evenings and on weekends. All activities will take place at the Howard M. Terpenning Athletic Center, located at 15707 SW Walker Rd., Beaverton, OR 97006.
