Volunteer Opportunities Newsletter

Come build community at this free, natural building workshop at the PCC Newberg Center Learning Garden!

This is an opportunity to learn the time-tested and valuable skill of cob, a type of earthen masonry, while meeting new friends! Join us as we mix and apply cob to the rising wall of our garden tool shed from 9:00 to 2:00 on July 31st and in August on the 2nd, 4th, 7th, 8th, 11th, 14th, and 15th. (End times may vary.) Kids are welcome for the mixing portion of the event.

Come prepared to get a little dirty and have a lot of fun: Wear clothes and footwear (shoes or boots) that can get muddy, and bring a water bottle, sunscreen and/or hat. Gloves, snacks and cold water will be provided. PCC Newberg Center Learning Garden is in the Southwest corner of the parking lot at 135 Werth Blvd., Newberg, OR.
