Campus Compact of Oregon: SummerVISTA Recruitment Fair April 6th from 4-7pm at Warner Pacific University

What are you doing this summer? Work with youth in your community! Serve with Campus Compact of Oregon!
Summer VISTA members serve full time for eight weeks from June-August, with either a community organization or school district to prepare students for a successful transition into the next grade level and prevent summer learning loss. Summer VISTAs may develop lesson plans and activities, serve directly with students as tutors or assistant teachers, help with outreach to parents or guardians of students, recruit and train community volunteers, and more.
Members receive a living stipend, gain valuable professional experience in the education sector, and participate in professional development and racial justice and equity training from Campus Compact of Oregon.
