Friends of Tryon Creek: Tyron Watershed Wide Event (Sat, Feb 10th)

You don’t want to miss this fun community event, hosted by the Tryon Creek Watershed Council. This is the biggest volunteer day in the Tryon Creek watershed!

Volunteers will work at various project sites throughout Southwest Portland, including Tryon Creek State Natural Area. RAFFLE PRIZES will be handed out before the work begins, so be sure to register to get your name entered! Projects will include invasive species removal and some possible native plant installation.

Schedule of the event

Saturday, February 10

  • 9-9:30am:  Volunteer Check-In at St. Mark Presbyterian Church (Coffee and breakfast snacks provided) and RAFFLE!
  • 9:30am-12:30pm:  Welcome and announcements, carpool to project sites with the group, work at the designated project site
  • 12:30-1pm: Cleanup, sendoffs, and goodbyes!
