SOLVE: Put your winter boots to work with SOLVE! (Dec 14th and Dec 16th)

Posted by

Volunteer Opportunities Newsletter

Let’s work together to bring a bit more cheer to Oregon this winter!

Lend a hand at a local litter cleanup, or help restore our natural areas by joining an invasive plant removal or native planting project near you!

SOLVE events are a fun, easy way to improve the community and natural areas, meet your neighbors, and spend quality time outdoors with family and friends. Best of all our projects are family-friendly, open to all, and no experience is necessary. Our volunteer leaders bring the tools and the plan, but we need you to make it work!

Upcoming opportunities:
  • 12/14 – Northwest Portland Thursday Cleanup – Portland
  • 12/16 – Restore Riverplace December – Portland
  • 12/16 – NWDA Third Saturday December Cleanup – Portland
  • 12/16 – No Ivy League 3rd Saturday Work Party December – Portland
  • 12/16 – December Burnside Nature Park Restoration – West Linn

Save the Date! SOLVE’s large service days for 2018 have been announced. Mark your calendar for:

  • Spring Oregon Beach Cleanup on 3/24
  • SOLVE IT for Earth Day on 4/21

About the Volunteer Opportunities Newsletter

The Volunteer Opportunities Newsletter allows students, faculty, and staff at PCC a more comprehensive look at volunteer needs and opportunities from our community partners. Our hope is that the newsletter will allow subscribers to stay better informed about community service opportunities in the tri-county areas of Portland, Oregon, as well as non-profit internships and scholarships available locally and nationally.
