Posted by

Volunteer Opportunities NewsletterPCC Newberg Center Learning Garden has a new and exciting event coming up this month!

This free event offers an opportunity to build community while learning the time-tested and valuable skill of cob natural building. You’ll meet new friends, participate in community building and get some hands-on experience in the PCC Newberg Center Learning Garden.

Come prepared to mix mud, sand, and straw, do the “cob dance”, and apply the mixture onto our cob structure that is being built. Wear clothes that can get a little dirty, shoes or boots that can get muddy, and bring a rain jacket, water bottle, and sunscreen. Snacks and beverages will be provided.

Date: Saturday, July 1st & Saturday, July 29th
Time: From 9:00am to 1:00pm
Location: PCC Newberg Center Learning Garden (135 Werth Blvd. Newberg, Oregon 97132)
