Kaiser Permanente Northwest: Volunteer at a Community Clinic Near You!

Posted by

Volunteer Opportunities NewsletterPermanente volunteers enhance visitor and patient experiences in our community-based clinics across the Portland metro area.

Your unique experiences and skills add a personal dimension to patient care that we welcome and celebrate. During a typical shift, volunteers may welcome visitors to the clinic, socialize with patients in lobby areas, help patients navigate between departments, and assist departments and staff with special projects.

Volunteers are asked to commit to one 4-hour shift per week for at least 6 months, in order to build lasting relationships with clinic visitors and staff. A background check and drug screen are mandatory and provided by KP. Thorough orientation, training, and support provided throughout this service placement! Get in touch with us today to learn more.
