Posted by

Looking for a way to give back to your community? Interested in exploring new areas of Portland?

Love being outdoors even if there’s some rain and mud? If you answered yes to any of those, you should absolutely join us as we plant native trees and shrubs at King City Park! This site is an easy 30-minute drive from downtown Portland along the Tualatin River Watershed.

When: Saturday, Dec 17th, 9am-12pm

Please arrive around 8:40am to be registered in time to enjoy some free breakfast snacks and hot coffee/tea. The event will start promptly at 9:00am

Where: King City Park

17470 SW Montague Way, King City, OR –look for Friends of Trees signs as you get close

Groups of Planters Welcome!

We love a planting posse! We ask that any group of 5 or more pre-register via our Group Registration Form.

We provide gloves, tools and guidance–no tree care experience needed! Be sure to come dressed for the weather: wearing sturdy closed-toe shoes, rain-resistant layers you don’t mind getting dirty, a hat, and get ready to have fun!

If you have any questions or need further information, please don’t hesitate to be in touch with our Volunteer & Outreach Program at 503-595-0213. We hope to see you there!
