SOLVE: Get outside with SOLVE this holiday season! (Saturday, Nov 26th)

Posted by

Getting outdoors and making a difference for your local neighborhood or natural area is a great way to start the holiday season. This year we’re inviting you to join us in celebrating, making memories and benefiting local wildlife and communities through service. Events are led by local volunteer leaders and focus on improving our neighborhoods and natural areas with hands-on work including litter cleanup, invasive plant removal, planting native trees and shrubs and other restorative projects.

Volunteers of all ages and abilities are encouraged to get involved. See all opportunities below:

  • 11/26: 4th Saturday in November Clean-up at LeRoy Haagen Park – Vancouver
  • 11/26: East Glisan Cleanup for November – Portland
  • 11/26: Friends of Woods Memorial Park November Restoration Event – Portland

Spending just a few hours removing litter or invasive plants from our neighborhoods and natural areas, or planting native trees and shrubs, makes a big difference for wildlife, water quality, and communities. Sign up to get involved today! Visit our full calendar of events or contact SOLVE at 503-844-9571 ext. 332 or info@solveoregon.org.
