Impact NW: Beaverton Community Schools seeking volunteers!

After-School Tutor/Activity Assistant Location: SHINE Community Schools in Beaverton
Duties: Assist students (1 – 5th grade) in after school classes and act as a positive role model for students.
Schedule & Commitment: At least 1 afternoon per week, Monday – Friday. 3:05 – 5:30 pm.
Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of elementary level math, reading, and writing.
- Be encouraging, patient, enthusiastic, reliable and punctual.
- Enjoy working with students.
- Sensitive/open to people from diverse lifestyles, socioeconomic levels, and cultures.
- Work as part of a team.
- Attend required trainings.
- Able to pass a criminal background check within reason.
- Available at least 1 weekday afternoon each week (no weekend hours).
- 16+ years old.
