Seeking Interns to serve in Youth Programming

Neighborhood House is seeking part-time, unpaid, Youth Equity Interns (about 8-16 hours per week) for the Fall Semester of 2016 with possible continuance into 2017. The internship is open to graduate and undergraduate students with ambitions to work in youth social services and education. Depending on the intern’s availability and interests, they will be placed at one of our program sites in Southwest or North Portland.

Interns can expect to work alongside Site Supervisors in delivering high quality programming focusing on youth development, academic support, workforce development & training, and nutrition and physical fitness activities. Each intern has the opportunity to develop and implement their own projects that add value to our programming. Interns will need to commit to a semi-regular schedule and help our Site Supervisor(s) in the week-to-week operations of the program.
