Markham SUN School – Impact NW: Teach after school SUN classes – Make a difference in the lives of kids in your community!

Are you looking to boost your resume with classroom experience?
Impact NW is recruiting volunteer instructors to teach provided* curriculum to elementary students at Markham SUN School.
*Or teach your passion! Create your own 8 class curriculum and get kids excited about learning. Successful past classes include: knit and crochet, woodworking with hand tools, scrapbook and storytelling, beaded jewelry making, and chess.
(SUN also has opportunities for after school class assistants.)

Markham Elementary SUN School

Commitment:
At least 1 afternoon (3-5pm)per week, Monday – Thursday for 1 term or more if you’d like!
Terms are 7-9 weeks long
- Fall: 10/3/16 – 12/8/16
- Winter: 1/17/17 – 3/9/17
- Spring: 4/10/17 – 5/25/17
*Background check required.
