Posted by hannah.cherry
Friends of Trees invites the PCC community to join us as we transition from planting parties to Tree Care season!
This event is in partnership with the City of Tigard and Clean Water Services. This event is part of the Tree For All campaign which has planted over three million native plants in the Tualatin River Watershed in the past decade!
When: Saturday, May 7th, 9am-12pm
Where: Jack City Park, 12668 SW 127th Ave., Tigard, OR 97223 – look for Friends of Trees signs as you get close
Groups of Planters Welcome! We love our Tree Care groups! We ask that any group of 5 or more pre-register via our Group Registration Form.
Please arrive around 8:45am to be registered in time to enjoy some free breakfast snacks and hot coffee/tea. The event will start promptly at 9:00am. We provide gloves, tools and guidance – no tree care experience needed! Be sure to come dressed for the weather, wearing sturdy closed-toe shoes, and get ready to have fun! If you have any questions or need further information, please don’t hesitate to be in touch with our Volunteer & Outreach Program at 503-595-0213. We hope to see you there!
