Friends of Trees: Volunteers Needed in SW Portland – March 26th!

Friends of Trees invites the PCC community to join us as we continue our restoration efforts at Durham City Park in SW Portland!

This event is in partnership with the City of Durham and Clean Water Services. This planting is part of the Tree For All campaign which has planted over three million native plants in the Tualatin River Watershed in the past decade! Clean Water Services, Friends of Trees, thousands of volunteers, other non-profits, city partners, and private landowners will be working together this season to continue the success of this program.

When

Saturday, Mar 26th, 9am-1pm
Please arrive around 8:45am to be registered in time to enjoy some free breakfast snacks and hot coffee/tea. The event will start promptly at 9:00am

Not too far from Bridgeport Village off I-5
Look for Friends of Trees signs as you get close!

Groups of Planters Welcome!

Got a planting posse that would like to come out? We ask that any group of 5 or more pre-register via our Group Registration Form.

We provide gloves, tools and guidance–no planting experience needed! Be sure to come dressed for the weather, wearing sturdy closed-toe shoes (for your safety, no sandals or flip-flops), and get ready to have fun!
