Friends of Trees: Planting Volunteers Needed – Mar 19th – Fernhill Wetlands!

Friends of Trees invites is recruiting volunteers for Sat, 3/19, as we continue our restoration efforts at Fernhill Wetlands in Forest Grove!

This planting is part of the Tree For All campaign which has planted over three million native plants in the Tualatin River Watershed in the past decade! Spending a few hours to plant trees with us will bring health, economic, and social benefits to this area for generations to come!

When: Saturday, Mar 19th, 9am-1pm
Where: 1365 SW Fern Hill Rd, Forest Grove, OR 97116, USA –look for Friends of Trees signs

Groups of Planters Welcome! Got a planting posse that would like to come out? We ask that any group of 5 or more pre-register via our Group Registration Form or email us at volunteer@friendsoftrees.org.

Please arrive around 8:45am to be registered in time to enjoy some free breakfast snacks and hot coffee/tea. The event will start promptly at 9:00am. We provide gloves, tools and guidance–no planting experience needed! Be sure to come dressed for the weather, wearing sturdy closed-toed shoes, and get ready to have fun!
