Active Children Portland: Volunteer Opportunities to Assist Underserved Youth

We need volunteers for several upcoming events at Active Children Portland!
The tasks at these events will include setting up/breaking down soccer fields, assisting field managers during games, and selling concessions.
- November 7: Soccer Game Day Event from 9AM-2PM at Alder Elementary School.
- November 14: Turkey Cup Family Event from 9AM-3PM at Lincoln Park Elementary School
- November 21: Fall Soccer Tournament from 9AM-2PM at Alder Elementary School

Active Children Portland’s mission is to empower students to lead healthy lives, succeed academically, and inspire positive community engagement. The organization began in 2011 with the vision to transform communities and serve hundreds of local students through youth sports. Our programs focus on helping all participants to develop the confidence and life skills they need to succeed. We believe that by taking a holistic and comprehensive approach to youth-development, and by focusing on kids who need it the most, we CAN make a positive difference for the next generation.
