Friendly House, Inc.: Fun Fundraising Event Needs Lots of Help!

We desperately need the help of as many volunteers as we can get on Friday, March 13th, and some days leading up to that and the day after.
That’s the date of our annual Spring Auction, our biggest fundraising event of the year, when we need about 180 people to help us set-up the party, throw the party, then break it down! There are lots of different jobs available, including making decorations, checking people in and out, helping with food, set-up, breaking down, and so forth. Without the help of volunteers we could not raise the funds needed to keep our doors open. Volunteering for this is a fun job though – we decorate the whole place to look like the 1930s and have a ball! Food and drink provided.
We’re using VolunteerSpot (the leading online Sign-up and reminder tool) to organize our upcoming Sign-ups.

We do so through case management, social services, recreational, educational, and other life-sustaining services. We are the hub and cross-section for a lot of at-risk people and anyone else who want to build community together.
