Nature Guide Training
Wednesdays, 9:00 – 12:00pm

The Nature Guide training program is specifically geared towards volunteers interested in leading small groups of students visiting the park for morning school field trips. In order to continue offering this training for free we ask that all participants plan on guiding at least ten times during 2015.

All participants must be available at least one morning Monday through Friday. Orientation will take place on Wednesday, January 21st. Meet here at the Nature Center and dress to hike.

Pre-registration required; all participants will be asked to guide at least once a month during the 2014/2015 school year.

For a volunteer Nature Guide job description, answers to your questions or to register, please contact Sarah Kreisman, Community Engagement Coordinator at (503) 636-4398 or sarah@tryonfriends.org.
