CIO brief: Network upgrades moving forward

As reported in the last update, network traffic trends have required us to move forward planned switch upgrades. Architectural design and requirements are complete and the Bond Office will be presenting a Board Resolution for funding today. Banner 9 development is complete and we are currently Beta testing with the stakeholder teams – on schedule. Pools for the two vacant Director positions have been released and the hiring committees will start review candidate next week. Michael Northover met with accreditors today as part of the mid-cycle review of Recommendation 1.
