This Beginner's Backpacking Class offers an introduction to outdoor adventure, combining informative discussions on trip planning, risk assessment, gear selection, the 10 essentials, Leave No Trace principles, and camp setup. There will be a show-and-tell and hands-on opportunities to explore and use gear, ensuring participants gain practical knowledge and confidence for their first backpacking experience.
