Details about this class
This is a one-credit class designed to improve your research skills for success in college and in your daily life. You will learn about how different types of information sources are created, what they're useful for, how to evaluate them, and will get experience finding quality information from books, magazines, newspapers, journals, the web, etc. Successful students in this class will become proficient searching the open Internet and the library’s databases to select the best sources for a particular information need.
