Details about this class
This class is required for EXS Degree seeking students. We will learn how to examine human motion in physical activity and sports and the integration of anatomy and biomechanics. We will explore the anatomical movements involved in a variety of motor and balance tasks, postural stability exercises, and exercise program design using corrective movement patterns.
This course is a Hybrid and "Flipped" course, where students need to PREVIEW the course material Online (Lecture) PRIOR to the In-Person session (Lab). We will meet In-person for four hours per week on campus in HT 129 and 128 applying content previewed and covered Online. Students will need to be ready in advance of each week by preparing for an additional two hours per week on the Online Lecture Course Material, plus additional time actively studying and reviewing all course material to be successful.
