ESOL42 Level 4 Writing

Class Schedule

Includes introduction to the writing process, descriptive and narrative paragraphs and formal letters, review of basic grammar, introduction to present perfect and past continuous writing, and grammar taught in the context of communicating in adult life roles. This is the fourth level of ESOL and the first of a five-course sequence that focuses on writing. Prerequisites: (ESOL placement test AND concurrent placement in ESOL 40/ESOL 40N and ESOL 44/ESOL 44N or higher), OR (successful completion of ESOL 30/ESOL 103A/ESOL 103B). Audit available. In-Person: Instructional time will happen in-person. Class meetings take place at specific times and locations.
Online (no scheduled meetings): Instruction will take place through regular online activities and assignments with scheduled due dates. Classes do not have meeting times.
Online (scheduled meetings): Instructional time will happen online. Class meetings will take place at scheduled days/times online.
In-person & Online (scheduled meetings): Class meetings take place at a specific time & day, with some meetings in-person and some online, usually in Zoom.
