Details about this class

Fiction can be a mystery: what makes a story work? In this class, we'll learn how to discuss fiction and draw connections between stories, craft, and our own lives. Together we'll read a number of short stories as well as a novel. You'll come away from this class with a new vocabulary of story elements, a better understanding of the mechanics that go into story construction, and a broader perspective on all the diverse voices, styles, and structures that make up fiction.
