Covers circuit math problem solving required for later courses in the program and typical situations found on the job. Covered topics are: ratios and proportions, metric measures, geometry, algebra applied to electronic applications, and elementary trigonometry are covered. Relevant mathematical principles and problem-solving methods are applied to engineering type scenarios without requiring underlying circuit theory. Prerequisites: MTH 65, or any MTH/STAT course for which MTH 65 is a prerequisite, or equivalent placement. Audit available. (See course content and outcomes.)
