Details about this class
This is a fully online, asynchronous class. There are no real-time meetings, but you will have weekly and sometimes mid-week deadlines. The course provides a rich, multidisciplinary overview of intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), including history, research, policy, and practical strategies to support individuals with IDD across the lifespan. Please check the syllabus for more information.
Technology
Some assignments will require a video response, so please make sure your computer has a working camera and microphone. No other additional technology is required.
No show policy
Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class. It is important to log in as soon as the class starts to see what the participation requirements are.
