Details about this class

This class meets once a week and uses Special Education: Contemporary Perspectives for School Professionals as our main text. You’ll have weekly and sometimes mid-week deadlines to help you stay on track. The course offers a warm, accessible introduction to special education, blending history, research, and practical strategies you can use as a future educator.

Technology

Some assignments will require a video response, so please make sure your computer has a working camera and microphone. No other additional technology is required.

No show policy

Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class. It is important to log in as soon as the class starts to see what the participation requirements are.
