Details about this class

Practical Mathematics for CAD Designers and Drafters is designed to apply math skills in a drafting environment. Emphasis is placed on math problems that relate to detail drawings and CAD models. This course is delivered in online mode, meaning there are no regular meetings and all required content is completed asynchronously. Each week, you will have access to a new module containing reading, video lectures, activities, practice problems and a math assignment. Students collaborate via online discussions.

The textbook for this course is an open educational resource (OER.) Accessible versions of the text readings are provided with the course shell.

The mid-term and final are completed online via the quiz tab. CADD 115 is a four-credit class, requiring approximately 12 hours each week to complete the coursework.

I am available for 1:1 Zoom or in-person meetings, scheduled via Google calendar. For more information about this class, see the Course Content and Outcomes Guide for CADD 115 here.
