Some of the activities in this class require using the PCC Linux server so students should have some familiarity with using the Linux command line.
Technology
Some of the activities in this class require using the PCC Linux server so you will need a program to connect to the PCC Linux server. On Windows the free program called "putty" works well for this. On Mac and Linux the free program (usually already installed) called "ssh" works well for this.
No show policy
Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class. It is important to log in as soon as the class starts to see what the participation requirements are.
