Exploring Visual Communication Through Drawing
Explore drawing as a tool for thought and communication, aiding in enlarging graphic vocabulary, and gaining familiarity with diagramming and information visualization. Beneficial to educators, artists, and designers. All levels welcome.
Using hand-drawing techniques in diagramming, information visualization, systems thinking, basic illustration, and color theory, we investigate disciplines ranging across the arts, design, science, business, media, logic and philosophy. How is attention captured and directed? What effects does visual language have on the way we navigate the world physically, emotionally, intellectually and creatively?
