BIT203 Recombinant DNA
Provides a laboratory-intensive experience focusing on the strategies and techniques used in recombinant DNA work. Covers vector and insert options and preparation, quantitation of DNA, ligation and transformation procedures, and analysis by restriction digest, blot hybridization and PCR. Prerequisite: BIT 109 or instructor permission. Audit available. (See course content and outcomes.)
