Class Information
Introduction to Immunology is a Web class. Class will be taught asynchronously. Students will use a software tool called D2L Brightspace where they will find course content in a password-protected site that only students who are registered for the class can access. Students can access these courses from any computer that has a connection to the Internet at any time of day or night. Students and instructors will typically interact with each other via email and online discussions.
Specific Details:
- There are no scheduled meetings for students in a Web class..
- You are expected to be aware of and keep track of the course schedule, due dates, and deadlines.
- You are encouraged to complete and upload any assignments by their published due dates; late assignments are accepted up to 1 week late, but will occur a 10% point penalty.
- All lecture quizzes (InQuizitive) and tests will be completed online.
- InQuizitive is an adaptive quizzing tool associated with the textbook that combines interactive question types with game-like elements such as a point system, progress levels, and interactivity. Thus students must have access to the digital textbook to take InQuizitives.
