Details about this class

This is a hybrid class.  We usually would meet for 3 hours of lecture and 3 hours of lab per week.   In a hybrid course, we meet for 90 minutes of lecture (on fridays) and 3 hours of lab (also on Fridays).  I will post lecture videos each week and that will make up for the other 90 minutes of lecture but it will be viewed online before we meet for class each week.

In our Lecture meeting, we will utilize traditional lecture paired with active learning techniques such as case studies and guided inquiry.  Our lecture and lab quizzes and exams will be in person and closed book.   We will have course points from weekly short preassignments, and some lecture work, and some small projects as well in addition to the exams and quizzes.

I will email the syllabus to the classlist plus waitlist before the start of the term.  Here is a past 232 syllabus, there will be changes but it will get you an idea.

Please email me with any questions.
