Details about this class

This class is partially online, so there is a Zoom class once a week for about 2 hours. In these classes I will try to help you understand the more difficult concepts and provide some practical examples. Participation and questions are encouraged and 10% of your grade is from attendance and participation. Attendance consists of attending the entire class.

Any time you have a question or would like to have a more detailed explanation of some aspect of the class materials outside of class time, please feel free to email or call me.  I try to respond within a day to either.

As you will see from the due dates, you actually have 2 weeks to complete each Weekly Assignment, Weekly Quiz, and Weekly Discussion. This is just so to allow more flexibility for busy students. In addition to the weekly quizzes, the only test will be a final exam, consisting of true/false, multiple choice, and short answer questions.

Technology

There is no additional technology required for this class.

No show policy

Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class. It is important to log in as soon as the class starts to see what the participation requirements are.
