Details about this class

Students in this course are expected to enter the course website at least 3 times a week to work on the modules, check email, participate in discussions and complete 2 group projects. This course gives you an opportunity to work on projects that allows you to build your own portfolio. By taking this course, you agree to work on a group project. 

Technology

  • Mac or PC with Multicore Intel processor with 64-bit support, RAM 16 GB minimum (32 GB recommended) and 2GB of GPU VRAM.
  • Screen: at least 1280 x 800 pixels.
  • USB 3.0 or better (vs 2.0) – USB C Thunderbolt 3 preferred.
  • At least one 8 to 16GB or larger USB 3.0 thumb drive (or faster 3.1 or 3.2)
  • A laptop is OK but you will need multiple windows open.
  • Fast wifi – preferably what’s called (2×2). Try this wifi speed test to test your connection.
  • For online (scheduled meetings) classes, instruction requires a webcam, microphone, and speakers.

No show policy

Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class. It is important to log in as soon as the class starts to see what the participation requirements are.
