Details about this class
This course is delivered through Panther Access. Your course fees include the cost for McGraw-Hill 'Connect' Learning Management System access and etext. You do not need to purchase any materials outside the course. Instructions to access McGraw Hill 'Connect' resources via D2L will be given on the first day of class. For students that prefer an additional paper version of the textbook, a loose leaf version of the physical textbook can be purchased from the PCC bookstore for $26.70. Email any questions to cynthia.killingsworth@pcc.edu.
Please note:
I open my D2L Brightspace course shells a week early to give everyone chance to review the requirements and content of the course. I will also be available for all questions and look forward to meeting everyone! Here is information about me as your instructor.
Technology
Reliable and consistent Internet connection is required for McGraw-Hill Connect software and D2L Brightspace. Pop-up blockers needs to be turned off to allow the D2L-Inclusive Access for McGraw-Hill Connect site to load.
No show policy
Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class. It is important to log in as soon as the class starts to see what the participation requirements are.
Online technical requirements
Please be sure to read the quick guide to Online Learning technical requirements.
