Welcome to BA 101
Welcome to BA 101, an introduction to the core foundations of business. This course is designed for students who are interested in learning more about key business disciplines such as marketing, management, and finance. Whether you have already selected a major or are still exploring your academic and career interests, this course will help you understand how these areas work together within organizations and the broader economy.
BA 101 is a rigorous 4-credit course that requires consistent engagement. Students should plan to dedicate approximately 12 hours per week to successfully complete each module.
You will need the required textbook and should be comfortable navigating D2L, as it will be our primary learning platform. Course content will be delivered through readings, online discussions, assignments, and quizzes, all designed to reinforce key concepts and promote critical thinking.
I look forward to working with you this term and supporting your learning throughout the course. I am confident this class will provide a strong foundation for your future studies in business.
