Details about this class
Welcome to BA 100: Business Career Planning
Hello! My name is Connie Plowman, and I look forward to guiding you through this course.
This course is designed to help you take control of your career early on and begin building the skills and confidence employers are looking for.
Career planning is more than choosing a job. In this course, you will build your own Career Planning Toolkit, developing the skills, confidence, and resources you need to navigate your career journey -- whether you are exploring options, preparing for a job search, or planning your next career move.
There is no required textbook for this class. However, you must purchase "CliftonStrengths for Students" by Gallup with a valid access code to complete the online assessment. Make sure you purchase a new book with a new access code.
NOTE: This course is fully online (asynchronous) meaning there are no scheduled class meetings. You are expected to log in regularly, dedicate time to studying, read course materials thoroughly, watch selected videos, and submit weekly assignments -- on time and with quality.
Are you ready to start planning your career today? This course is for you!
