Details about this class
In this poetry workshop, we will:
- closely read a number poems from different cultures and time periods, as well as contemporary poetry in English
- investigate pre-writing strategies often used by poets in developing poems
- write and revise multiple drafts of poems with instructor and peer feedback
- share work within the class
- complete a portfolio of at least five revised poems, with an introduction
