Details about this class

Thanks for your interest in PS 201: U.S. Government! This 8-week online class (no scheduled meetings) will be conducted 100% online through D2L. The are no on-campus requirements, and there are no remote class meetings. I will used video lectures to present/discuss some of the course reading material. The online teaching/learning modality provides students with maximum flexibility in completing weekly assignments, in accordance with weekly deadlines. Required activities include discussions, exams, a research paper proposal, and a research paper. 

The required textbook can be purchased through the PCC bookstore or through an online bookseller (used copies go for around $80). The text will also be available on 2-hour reserve at the Cascade Library.

Technology

This class does NOT require any special technologies, beyond those listed in the Online Learning Technical Requirements. 

No show policy

Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class. It is important to log in as soon as the class starts to see what the participation requirements are.
