Details about this class
This is a WEB class which means that the class is asynchronous and does not have meetings in Zoom each week. However, there will be two required, virtually proctored exams in Zoom at the following times:
- Midterm Exam on Thursday, July 23 from 9:30am to 12:00pm OR 4:30pm-7pm
- Final Exam on Tuesday, September 1 from 9:30am to 12:00pm OR 4:30pm-7pm
Review the Student Guide to Virtually Proctored Exams in Zoom for important information and requirements. Please make every concerted effort to attend the scheduled virtually proctored exams. If you do not meet the requirements for virtually proctored exams, prefer to take your exams in-person, and/or have an unavoidable scheduling conflict, please contact me as soon as possible to discuss alternative arrangements. With adequate notice, alternative testing arrangements can be made for virtual or in-person proctoring at a testing center. Scheduling appointments with a testing center is the responsibility of the student, as well as paying any associated fees with using a non-PCC testing center.
This course is arranged chronologically and employs a modular design. Each week, students should complete all assignments listed in that week's lesson module. Modules will generally start on Fridays at 11pm and end 11 days later on Tuesdays at 11:00PM unless otherwise stated. This will allow a full week and two weekends for most modules.
This class is combined with another CRN. This means that students enrolled in the other section(s) of this class may be able to see your discussion board posts and may be present in online office hours (web conferences). You must let your instructor know that you would prefer not to be visible to students enrolled in the other section(s) of this class and the instructor will take measures to prevent this.
