Class will be held in-person.
If you sign up for the course, you are expected to attend the classes.
The notes will be scanned and will be available in D2L after each class session for the students who happen to miss a class.
Technology
You will need/use:
- Access to course materials in D2L.
- WeBWork (free app online) for HW problems.
- A scientific calculator (free app is allowed for some of the in-class work.)
- Desmos for graphing (free) when a graphing utility is appropriate.
Optional:
- Scan your written assignments to PDF format using a scanner or scanner phone app (such as Adobe Scan) and submit assignments into D2L.
- Print notes in advance --- (As a PCC student, student is "allocated the equivalent of 100 double-sided pages per term for free" Student Printing) --- This is highly recommended.
No show policy
Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class.
