Details about this class

This is a 5-week summer course beginning June 26 and ending July 30. This course will provide you with fundamental geographical knowledge of world regions and countries, and their continuing process of development. You will become familiar with the regional (i.e., cultural, economic, political, and environmental) similarities and differences throughout the world, and acquire an appreciation for the wealth of cultural diversity that exists throughout the globe and the commonality of linkage that has made the world an interconnected entity. you will learn about the changes brought to the world by globalization and see how globalization has reorganized the contemporary world's socioeconomics, cultural, and geopolitical structure.
